The Big Fix Homeless Cat Project

Other Needs:  Trappers (evening work, requires being physically fit and truck or SUV, we train), individuals to answer requests for help from our telephone help line (we train), couriers to transport cats to vets and keep cats in recovery before release (requres truck or SUV), assistants at adoption events, temporary foster homes for kittens (requires that you transport kittens to and from Saturday community adoption events), someone to regularly feed a colony of fixed homeless cats (you provide dry cat food), Bake Sale bakers and helpers.

Mission Statement:  Our mission is to stabilize and reduce the number of homeless cats in Kerr County by using Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) to stop their breeding.

Mission Statement:  The Animal Welfare Society of Kerr County, in association with the Freeman-Fritts Animal Shelter & Clinic, works to provide low-cost spay/neuter programs to reduce the number of homeless, unwanted animals; shelters and promotes the adoption of homeless animals; and provides education in the responsibilities of pet care and ownership.

Other Needs:  We need reliable volunteers to help with feeding the dogs and cleaning the kennels.  Also we need help with general clean-up and construction work.

Mission Statement:  We are completely dedicated to rescuing, treating and finding good homes for the stray, abandoned and abused pets of Bandera County.  We also offer spay/neutering for privately owned animals.
