Mission Statement:  The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.  The Hill Country Chapter serves Blanco, Gillespie, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Menard and Sutton counties.

Library needs teens, adults for volunteering as regular circulation desk staff, special events, fund raising, summer reading program, tutoring for English as a second language or GED prep, Computer classes for beginners.  We are trying to expand our hours but need more committed, dedicated volunteers to do so.

Mission Statement:  The mission of Playhouse 2000 shall be to provide education to people of all ages in all aspects of the performing arts and in addition to exist as a community theater in order to present to the general public performances of theater. In addition Playhouse 2000 shall from time to time act as a host to other arts organizations and other charitable or municipal groups providing a venue for various functions either artistic or public.

Other Needs:  We need willing and energetic adults to work in out studios and galleries.  We have many opportunities, including gallery sitting, class assistants, and particularly adults who can work with children and assist with outdoor activities and art activities.
